Bennett Travel was founded in the 1800s by Englishman Thomas Bennett

Considered to be the father of Norway's tourism industry, whilst serving as Secretary to the British Consul-General, he frequently arranged individual scenic tours for visiting British notables.

In 1849, he set up a small tourist shop in Oslo, Norway to provide visitors with information, maps and guides.

Our incredible history as the creators of tourism to Norway, provides our guests with deep travel experiences that have been carefully selected and crafted in the Bennett Collection.
